Find Out What Is The Best Treatment For You!
I have had acne for about 5 years now. It is not as bad as it used to be, a lot of my breakouts have calmed down. But I still have a ton of blemishes underneath the skin which cause a very bumpy look. The most affected areas would be my chin, either side of my chin, on my cheeks closer to my nose and my forehead.
I have gone to the doctor about it around 2 years ago and he perscribed a few different things, none of which worked. I use makeup everyday and mosturizer only in the winter when my skin gets very dry.
Does anyone know of any effective acne treatments that will give me results?
*I don’t want to take any kind of horomones because I am not comfortable with the idea of upsetting my body chemistry. I am looking for a topical solution only please
I’ve had acne for like 8 years no. It was fairly bad and I avoided accutane because of its horrible side effects. Therefore, I do not want anything with undesirable side effects. I just need something to get rid of my acne once and for all!
Thanks!
Currently I use clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide, but I am considering switching.
A dermatologist recommended to take Yasmin (drospirenone+ethinylestradiol) in treating acne on my face and back. What are the pros and cons. Thanks
I’ve tried many creams and over the counter products, I’ve gotten prescription cream from dermatologists, and I even used Proactiv Solution before (which didn’t work for me).
So, I’m looking into getting laser-acne treatment, which I’m hoping would be my last resort.
I have a mild case of acne on my face, nothing severe though.
So before getting laser acne treatment, could someone tell me if its effective at all? Like does it completely rid of the acne
after the procedure is done? How does it work and how much does it cost?
And please, no answers suggesting that I should stick with creams or any recommendations of creams that had worked for people.
I would like accurate and conclusive information from people who know or have experience pertaining to laser-acne treatment.
Also, I’m planning to use laser treatment for my entire face.
well…is it? i bought it just for that purpose..it was only .00….
what else is it gooOd for btw.?
I have had acne since my late teenage years, I am now 27. Very tired of looking at it. I’ve tried proactiv, and all sorts of over the counter treatments, and I hate taking oral medications for fear of side effects. Is there a non-invasive approach to dealing with acne? Is an antibiotic treatment regimen really helpful or will it just be a waste of my time and only make me more bacteria-resistant?
